Cosmetology
Description of program
Cosmetology is the science that deals with beautifying and improving the complexion, skin, hair, and nails. At Gadsden City High School, cosmetology is a four-semester program. Students who do not complete the full four-semester program before graduation will need to complete additional training after high school. After completion of all basic theory and performance tasks, students are eligible for State Board Examinations. After these exams have been passed, students will receive their cosmetology license.
