Description of program

HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration) is a program that prepares students for construction-based jobs. If you enjoy working with your hands and like solving problems, this is a profession that you will enjoy. Classroom projects will include team building projects as well as individual work. HVACR professionals work indoors and outdoors on residential, commercial and Industrial project. Trained technicians in this field are in high demand and with average salaries at almost $50,000 annually.

Here’s something else you need to know

Each student must complete a senior project that requires you to apply all of your pervious HVACR classes.  Students must design, build and install a duct system in the shop that will be tested for proper airflow and capacity.
